His mind was a maze
With no entrance, no exit.
They'd test him, they'd tease him
But nodding and shrugging and hmphing-
At last have to leave him-poor boy.
Alone in this forest.
Stuck in this place forever-for always!
What joy.

The man from Montclair
After week-ends of searching-
Having found that place
That long-ago spot
One Day
Packed himself
His two sons
And some things in the car
And went there.
To stay.
